Roomie Account Deletion Request
This page explains how users of Roomie can request deletion of their account and associated data.
How to Request Deletion
- Open Roomie and sign in to your registered account.
- Open your profile/settings modal.
- Select Delete account and confirm the action.
If you cannot access the app account, email a request from your account email address:

Data Deleted
- Registered account record (including account profile fields such as username, email, and linked auth provider identifiers).
- Active login session for that account is ended.
Data Kept and Retention
- Chat room messages previously sent by that user are not automatically removed by the current implementation and may remain in room history until separately removed by the operator.
- Direct messages are not automatically removed by the current implementation and may remain stored until separately removed by the operator.
- Poll records and votes are not automatically removed by the current implementation and may remain stored until separately removed by the operator.
- Security, abuse-prevention, and operational records may be retained as required for legitimate interests and legal compliance.
Guest users do not have a permanent registered account. Guest identifiers and guest chat content are designed to expire automatically after approximately 24 hours.
